AGL Transaction Services AB provides consultancy services comprising, among others, support in the procurement of financing and financial derivatives. The company’s role is, as an independent party, to assist clients in price and contract negotiations with banks within the European credit market. The advice is geared towards companies, foundations, economic associations, institutions, municipalities, counties and authorities. The company also manages banking contacts and business on behalf of the client. These transactions relate primarily to the procurement of currency and interest rate derivatives and spot exchanges. The transactions are carried out in accordance with an agreed mandate authorised and issued by the client. The company can also bring buyers and sellers of financial instruments together. An example of such a situation is when a client, on completion of an advisory consultation, declares an interest in purchasing or selling certain financial instruments and the company knows of another individual who may be interested in being the counterpart in the deal. Activities which the company carries out may also include the maintenance and development of the operations within an entire finance department for a client (outsourcing) or the hiring of consultants from the company for ongoing work.

AGL Transaction Services AB is under the supervision of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen), Box 7821, 103 97 Stockholm, www.fi.se. AGL licence number is 035227. The Company is authorised to conduct securities business in accordance with the Swedish Securities Market Act (2007:528) The authorisation comprises the following investment services:
- reception and transmission of orders in relation to one or more financial instruments
- execution of orders on behalf of clients
- investment advice
- placing of financial instruments without a firm commitment basis.
The company also has a sub-permit to provide advice to clients on capital structure, company strategy and similar issues and to provide advice and carry out services in conjunction with mergers and takeovers, as well as to carry out accounting services for clients.
